"Podążając za kumakiem nizinnym" to pierwszy utwór z nadchodzącej płyty Polish Soundscapes - Reworks.

Założeniem podczas tworzenia zarówno tego utworu, jak i całej płyty było nagranie dźwięków w naturalnych i unikalnych miejscach w Polsce, a następnie skomponowanie do nich muzyki.

Zalążek utworu nagrany został w Wigierskim Parku Narodowym i głównym wokalistą jest w nim kumak nizinny.

Wycieczka ta była pierwszą na szlaku wyjątkowych miejsc w Polsce i zakochałem się w tych stronach bezpowrotnie. Wigry to mnóstwo pięknych jezior, mokradeł i lasów oraz dom dla wielu unikalnych gatunków zwierząt i roślin. Niektóre z nich w Polsce można spotkać tylko tam.


Niestety, Polskie zasoby wody zarządzane są w niezrównoważony sposób, a naturalne ekosystemy wodne z roku na rok się coraz bardziej wysuszają.
128 gatunków zwierząt z Wigierskiego Parku Narodowego jest już na czerwonej liście zagrożonych gatunków IUCN.

Są jednak organizacje, które działają na rzecz przywrócenia równowagi w środowiskach naturalnych Polski. Najbliższe mi WWF Polska oraz Inicjatywa Dzikie Karpaty organizują przeróżne akcje proekologiczne i warto je wspierać, do czego Was zapraszam.

Proszę, rozważ pomoc w ochronie tych miejsc (bez nich nie będzie kumaków). Twoje działanie ma wpływ.

"Following The Fire Bellied Toad" is the first track off the upcoming album Polish Soundscapes - Reworks by pidgyn.

The idea behind making of both, this song and the whole album, was to record sounds in the most unique, natural places in Poland and then compose a soundtrack to these recordings.

The field recording from this track was captured in Wigierski National Park and the main vocalists on this are Fire Bellied Toads - check them out, the look at least as cool as they sing

Wigierski Park was the first stop on this trip across Poland's most beautiful places and I fell in love with it completely. Wigierski National Park has a lot of beautiful lakes and is home to many unique animal and plant species. With some species this is the only place you can find them in Poland.



Unfortunately, Poland's water supplies are managed in a very unsustainable manner and water ecosystems are getting drier and drier. 128 animal species of Wigierski National Park are already on the IUCN Red List.


However, there are many organizations which seek to restore and protect natural Polish habitats. The ones I relate to most - WWF and Inicjatywa Dzikie Karpaty are organizing various eco campaigns and I'd like to ask you support them on this occasion. If you're from abroad please consider supporting a local ecological organization of your choice.

Please think of saving those valuable places (there will be no more singing toads without them). Your actions have influence.
